Sweet 10th Monthsary

Up close & Personal

4th of July 2016.

Today (4th of July) mark our 10th month of marriage.

How time flies. Mr and I have been married for 10th month and it feels like we’ve known each other for 10 years maybe? 😉 8e0f2359c65228a11eafafeb4840cf9b.png

I keep reminding myself, “We’ve only just begun…” It’s my reminder to keep on working on our relationship. The marriage is what we work on daily basis. May we all choose to work on our most precious relationships day-by-day.

I could not have asked for a better man with whom I get to spend my life with. We’ve made it through so much during our first 10 month together that, I have no doubt, the rest of our lives will be a breeze.

When I prayed (prior met him) for God to bring me a man who was the one He had planned for me, in my wildest dreams, believe He would has found someone so perfect.  I have been blessed beyond words to have him as a husband.

It took me few of wrong guys to finally find the right one. There’s saying, the wrong relationships teach you how to recognize the right one when it arrives. Also, we met people for a reason, either they’re a blessing or a lesson. I totally agree with that. 🙂

8af2ba7783379c3f87b28d1e88f08d62.pngI can honestly say I know what winning the lottery feels like. He’s so much more than I ever though to ask for, or ever thought I deserved. Before him, I settled.  Before him, I was okay with mediocre.  Before him, I didn’t know what it meant to be loved wholeheartedly.

I am so thankful to have a husband who encourages me to follow my dreams. He’s strong when my strength is failing me. He hold me when times are tough. He wipe away my tears and comfort me when I need it.

He make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world, even when I always have a hard time seeing that for myself. He make sure our family’s needs are met. I pray that he will be a great and wonderful father to our children. 435c2d8e96a793fe518c4e23bb668869.png

He push me to soar!  He makes me rest, when I push myself too hard or try at least (I can be a bit stubborn). When I am afraid of taking a giant leap, he hold my hand and guide me so I land safely. He put up with my craziness and sometimes that’s no easy task. His love towards me like I had never been loved before.

I will never be able to adequately express just how much he means to me. I don’t think people have invented an actual word for how much I love him yet. I only hope, for the rest of our lives, he will always know just how much he means to me, how deeply in love with him I am, and how lucky I feel to have him as my husband.

Happy 10th monthsary my love, without you I would not be complete.

Love & Blessings,

Mr. & Mrs.

Oh wait, where’s Mr? LOL

Mom oh Mom

Up close & Personal

Mom will always be mom.

She asked me whether I have my baju raya (new dress for Eid) yet or not.

Me as usual.

‘I don’t have any (yet)’.

And she started to yada, yada, etc, bla, etc .dot.my.

‘Ok mom, I’ll find one’.

I thought by saying that she will stop ‘her-sweet-speech’ but no way! LOL

I love her. I love my mom.

She continues.

What did I do? I just say YES. Yes, my advice to you, just say yes to your mom. Agree or disagree doesn’t matter.

Win-win situation. Everyone’s happy. 😀

Therefore, my baju raya hunting begins. Sigh.

If you read my previous entry, I did mentioned that I was looking for white dress to be paired with Mr’s baju Melayu (Malay suit). And I’m talking about his baju nikah. He wanted to wear his baju nikah on Eid. I’ve surveyed few (white) dresess that I like. However, I can’t decide which one to buy. Ended up I didn’t buy any.

Well, I still have my baju nikah (bridal dress) since the Mr. will be wearing his. The reason why I reluctant to wear mine is because the kain (skirt) was too long. Don’t ask me why. Well, I assume you aware of the wedding thingy right? Everything must be so fancy here and there. Yeah, I know don’t judge me. LOL

Having said, too long or not I will be wearing my baju nikah anyway. However, it subject to change. We’ll see if I found one. At this juncture, I don’t have have any urgency or preference to buy one.

But, mom will always be mom.

I love you, MOM!

Wish me luck!

Caffe Bene

Interior, Travelling

Hi Everyone!

I am now sitting at my workstation along with my patotie Fai. The nickname that I think suits him well. It sounds cute and witty! He seems to have few of nicknames now. LOL. Okay forget about it.

I want to share with you a coffee shop that I will recommend besides Starbucks, Coffee Bean or other typical-famous coffee shops. It called Caffe Benne, a double-storey coffee shop located at District 1, within Ben Thanh market’s vicinity.

Did you you know that Caffe Bene originally from Korea? Hi K-pop, Korean TV drama lovers! Here the ‘Korean’ place for you. Definitely a subtle Korean touches.

My mouth watering by just looking at this!

A good place for working, meetups & hangout.

Caffe Bene is comparatively more spacious than the typical coffee shops that we are used to. You can see that from the pictures.

The place is spacious with ‘generous’ interior, modern yet hipster elements in design, high speed wifi connection and definitely a good coffee! You can definitely smell the aroma of coffee and waffles filling the place.

Stairs to Level 2.

Space at Level 2.

I ordered caramel macchiato; my fav coffee drink ever and the taste as good as Starbucks! I reckon each coffee shop has different taste of coffee. It could be the different type of coffee, the barista or an unique recipe, no? But I like my coffee here, Caffe Bene!

Cheers everybody!
