After few days well spent in Langkawi, we’ve extended our short vacay in Pantai Timur (East coast).
Never been in our #bucketlist vacay but who cares? We did it!
We spent a week in Cherating (Pahang) and Terengganu.
We stayed at The Legend Resort, Cherating for 2 nights, Ulek Beach Resort, Dungun for 1 night and Sutra Beach Resort, Merang, Terengganu for 3 nights. It’s located at Setiu. The smallest district in Terengganu. Well, all I can say is, not too bad! Setiu is a remote area, less famous area amongst tourist, the least I can say. However, we just want to get an overview and experience so that we know what to do in the future. It was the plain of welcomes, but it was a welcome nonetheless 🙂
The only thing that I regret the most was, the food. Oh my. I have no idea it was just me or as well as other people. The food really disappoint me. No kidding. In addition, it’s really difficult to find a decent food stall or restaurant nearby the hotel. We have to drove approx 20-30mins to find them.
Fortunately, on our last night in Terengganu, we (accidentally) found this ‘lively’ restaurant at Gong Badak, Kuala Terengganu and finally we had a good and tasteful food. Believe me, the food was so delicious, the seafood was so fresh and juicy and most importantly, tasteful! On top of that, it very reasonable at price. Happy tummy happy me. This is what we call a truly satisfaction. Paid off! 🙂
Oh God, I forgot the name of the seafood restaurant. Give me some time to recall. My bad. I know I know ;'(
